THE GAME WITHIN COACHING YOUTH SOCCER

Most players do not spend time outside of their organized practice and games with the ball.  I am including some various activities that others have designed that I have found can be useful, including some great videos that are posted on YouTube from former professional soccer player Jared Montz helping explain and demonstrate key concepts of select skills.  Additionally, on the upper right are 2 documents that players can use to help with their development. The Footskills Homework is outstanding!  Most of these activities are geared towards players above the U10 level and all can be modified to help differentiate player interest, time commitment, and ability.
